For the second year in a row The Decathlon (formerly The Wall Street Decathlon) will take place this weekend at SJU. This event has raised over $7mm since its foundation for the Pediatric Cancer Center at MSKCC. I'll be competing for the 4th year. I normally hold my own in the 30-39 age group taking 6th last year. The events include a 400m run, 800m run, 500m row, 40yd dash, vertical leap, football throw, max rep pull-ups, max rep dips, max 175 bench for reps and a 20 us shuttle. I was honored to be on the stage this morning to help ring the opening bell for Nasdaq to bring awareness to the event. You can find more out about the event at the link below. Tx thanks for asking. I was pleased with my athletic results. Most importantly I raised over $10k and the event has raised over $1.5mm so far this year for pediatric cancer research.
