I am by no means a qualified expert on the post game but found an interesting analysis of GG post game from 1st 2 games..

I don't think he's always weak off the dribble as the analysis states. He's only weak at times with his back to the basket. There were quite a few times when facing up the hoop, he looked quite good off the dribble. His post moves might not be totally refined, but they are better than I expected. He's certainly not raw at all.

Using a very scientific two-game sample, I've pretty much determined that GGA would be player of the year or a first-teamer in pretty much every mid-major conference. We'll see if that translates to consistent major conference success, but he's much better than I expected so far. If we get Pelle and Gathers here, and hopefully Obekpa, we'll be downright scary next year.

I think his post moves are pretty darn good. He does flare that arm out there to hook a bit. He got away with it during and exhibition game, then next time he tried it he got called. Other than that he takes the ball he goes to the hoop, doesnt dribble or fool around with it.

all due respect to lamont and yourself we're talking about a guy who didnt miss a shot the last game and is shooting 71% for the season. GG is 6-8 with an 87in(7-2) wingspan. two years here and he is a rotation player in the league. guy barely breaks a sweat playing 35 minutes a game. he truely is a gift.

I only meant the dribble, not his post moves. He dribbles real well for a big guy overall though. I think he'll be one of the best post players in the big east next 2 years. Hard to stop a guy with his size, athleticism and skill set. If where he's at now is any indication, he'll improve a lot as well. Like this kid a lot. Not sure how more teams weren't after him, but glad they weren't.

After 3 good games against regular teams we can´t say that he is the next Olajuwon.
After 1 bad game against a good team we can´t say that he is the next Keita.

Don't know if it was a bad game as he didn't even show up. Wonder if it had to do with him being late for bus and not starting.

I didn't look at the box score yet, but watching him, I don't think he had a bad game. He wasn't overmatched on defense, was a big, athletic body under the boards. There was one play that impressed the heck out of me in the first half. Arizona had a wide open 3 form the left baseline, which they made. However, GG sprinted from under the basket to try to cover the cover, took off to try to block the shot, and appeared from my seat to nearly have gotten it. The guy took off as if he had wings and got great elevation. Had he blocked it it would have been a highlight reel block.

GG is going to be fine for us as a big this season. We attacked the basket from the perimeter last night, with a fair amount of success. Arizona clogs the middle, making it difficult for anyone to post and score, no less an undersized center like GG. I think he did fine under the cirumstances.
