Need a good start today, especially on the road in a place that has not been kind to us.

Some good, some bad in first 4 minutes. Let's see which team emerges.

Julian a little lazy on that turnover, let Butler guys outhustle him.

So far, they just have more intensity and hustle than we do.
We just had two examples: one loose ball they were on the ground to get, we had a helicopter view; and a rebounding basket they got after missing with no SJU player within three feet of the basket.

Julian does have a weak handle . He’s lost the ball quite a bit on turnover dribbles . That’s a correctable flaw .

They can't keep giving Butler open threes. That is the only way they'll beat us.

Playing well on offense but just give up wide open threes.  I’ve never seen shooters so wide open.  It’s like shooting practice

Nywie floating around on the perimeter does more harm than good.

Just so maddening that we keep allowing wide open threes to a team who can't beat you off the dribble.

What's going on with the defense???  Guys are having brain farts and forgetting to find the shooters and guard the 3 point line.  Butler is not a good 3 point shooting team, if they just contest it they won't make them, most of their guys are in the low 30's.

when the defender gets beat in front, he chases...another defender moves over...and somewhere back at the top of the key or corner is a wide open new shooter. very repetitive.
