You're also short 2 conference games. 9 other teams, round robin, should equal 18 games.

If you go with 9-9, 18-13, that's solid NIT even if you lose first round BE Tournament. That would be real progress, IMO.

I like your thinking but be careful with the Penn State game. They are expecting one of there better teams this year and the guy who had them ranked had them much higher than SJU, FWIW.

I hope your right. But IMO, your being optimistic. If we finish 16-15 and make the NIT I will be happy.

Yeah, we know MSU is always at the top, but their 2 biggest guys are hurt, and the biggest now is a freshman, no? I'm hoping Sima and Yakwe can take advantage of that. PSU might be better this year, but do we look at them and say omg no chance? Nope.
In the B.E. I look at every team and the only 2 i see sweeping us is nova and x.
I know Creighton and Butler will be good but are they not beatable?

Yeah, I think it's tough these days to expect NIT berth if you have less than 18 wins. Tough conference slate may lend to some slack, though.
 
I think we always got the benefit of the doubt w NIT due to our history in that tourny and NY location. But after our last performance at NIT , I don't know .

If we want the NIT then they gotta push themselves. MSU 2 big are injured so I don't think their height will hurt us.

I don't expect a win, but it would sure be nice, and a confidence booster.

Was hoping 2-1 in the Bahamas, and had then winning tonights game.
So they're -3

Weren't they 7-5 in ooc last year?Well they're 2-5 this year and Tulane will smoke em on Friday.
That's 2-6 ughhh. Well I learned one thing from this.
Everyone will say the Zach, Simon, and Clark look great in preseason, and they'll be difference makers.
DON'T BELIEVE THE BS HYPE UNTIL THEY SHOW IT ON THE COURT.
