Great win by the Johnnies! Ponds was terrific in clutch time. Simon and Figueroa with key rebounds and Keita looks in great form. Got jobbed by refs on a couple of calls but we played good defense all game.
Clark and Heron were just so-so this game. We should have won by 12 in regulation had they been on their game.
Were there any recruits at the game for St. John's? We need to get better at recruiting at away games. We got outrebounded by 13 so I don't understand why Mullin didn't use Marcellus Earlington for a few minutes on Govan.
Mikey Dixon's contribution can't be underestimated. It is allowing Greg Williams to show his defense and athleticism.
