Fred Quartlebaum Article

Folks have always said Q is not only a good guy but that he did well in getting Norm in the door with top kids, including locals, but that it was more Norm not being able to close the deal.

I had the pleasure of meeting Coach Q on more than 1 occasion when he was a member of Norm Roberts staff. He is an outstanding person. I am delighted to see that he is Continuing to have a positive influence on so many lives. Best of continued success to Coach Q.

He came in with a huge rep from his UNC days. This board was on fire the day his name popped up - maybe even more so than Barry on CM's staff.
Oh well....

Likewise. I've met Coach Q on several occasions and he's a cool, personable and down to the earth dude.

Recall FQ's playing days for Fordham when they came into Alumni Hall and he was able to block a few off Billy Singleton's shots from behind.

Me three. I only met hi once at a practice and he was so pleasant and made me feel like we've known each other for life. A good guy. I wish him all the best. Except, of course, when he plays against us.
