Fox Sports Article On The Big East Moving Forward

I think the Big East needs to push the basketball angle even more, and our commitment to it. Marketing campaign should include a slogan of some sort like: "The Big East... We Are Basketball". It is a cornerstone of who we are as a conference and our identity now. People watching including recruits out there need that basketball-centric side even more. I'm hoping the new conferences allow our new members to grab some market share of recruits from their region brethren like Butler starting to grab from IU etc. Butler is one of those schools that has a historic arena much like Cameron and is in the basketball heartland. Creighton another great choice with their following. I certainly can see this conference getting even better over next few years.

Agree, I don't see it expanding just yet. Might be better to see what happens in the rest of the college landscape over the next year or two. There might be more shakeups and some schools might even drop BCS football with the new alignments.
