Bumped into Matt Brust at the G'Town game (he was sitting across from the St. John's bench) and I had the pleasure of being next to three former players (all 3 are before my time but I somehow knew all three of them) & they were kind of enough to pose for a picture. Can you name them? Photo attached
 
That's right Beast, now for the man in the middle, I'll give you a hint, in addition to being a former player he was also a former assistant coach & I believe had a brother who also played at St. John's.

Carmine Calzonetti, whose brother Mark once gave the entire booster club the finger for chanting to Looie that Kelly should be benched.
 
IT would be nice if they had prominent players on the video board at MSG pumping fans up.

marquette did this quite nicely.
 
I think all past players who come to a game should be recognized. I think it is great PR, and if any potential recruit has to note how we treat our past players.
