Great game between Canada and Australia. RJ Barrett with some huge plays at the end. He might be the best player in the 2019 class right now

Per Josh Gershon

2018 Canadian SG R.J Barrett made some huge plays down stretch in win over Australia. Attacked basket and made several big time passes.

Two goals for this team.
1 Win their bracket in order to play the US team
2 Beat the US team

Rightly or wrongly this team is perceived as the best team Canada has put on the floor in a very long time. It could happen.

Received two bits of info this Saturday past .
1. Simi Shittu will not be at Monteverde Academy in September. I don't know where he is going. For those who don't know him he is a Canadian who is ranked number 8 in the ESPN class of 2018. He is a monster PF. I don't believe we have been recruiting him to date but staff will certainly see him in Spain and I guess it matters where he ends up for his last two years of high school.
2. RJ is going to University for one year, then he is off to the league. At present his dad is only looking at schools that are top 20. when I said we will be drastically improved every season going forward I was told you may then have a chance, but the fact that his dad played at SJU is not enough. Just one man's word but he is usually on the money.
