Can someone please tell Felix that he is not a post player? Why in the world is he ever trying to post someone up?

He was a feel good story last game. Great for him. But there was a reason he rode the pine last year, and that reason is that he is not very good.

The sooner you and many other fans here accept that this is a transition year the better it will be for you to enjoy the games, regardless of the win/loss record. When last year's bench players like Alibegovic, Jones and Balamou are needed to play major minutes you realize that we will not be competitive with any top 40 teams. Our best two players this year are 18 year old freshmen. Lovett got screwed by the NCAA and the rest of the players are future bench players so excessive criticism of the players or coaches is unwarranted. Accept that this year we may have a record number of losses and that redmen.com will have a record fewer hits.

I understand that this is a transition year. But in my mind, a 37pt loss is completely unacceptable, no matter what the situation is. It's not the fact that we lost, its how we lost. This game was over from the tip.....that is the troubling part. We were not prepared and played uninspired, and that goes on both the coaches and the players. It would have been different if we would have been competitive early and then they just wore us down, but that wasn't the case. It's only one game, but our players need to come ready to play every game.
