Good Morning - fresh off the International Dominican Republic trip and his dominance Joel Soriano joins the podcast.

While we obviously touched on his success in the 3 games at the DR this interview was all encompassing. From his time as a kid to winning at Stepinac to Fordham to SJU and now. How he's worked to transform himself, his future, how he's becoming a leader and so much more. I got great stories from Stepinac Coach Pat Massaroni and our strength and condition coach Brandon Kuhn who has been working extremely hard with Joel.

Joel is a great kid, speaks well, and is a tremendous face for this team to have as the leader.

This is the first of what I'm calling the Storm Spotlight an Idea I pitched to the school to allow the podcast to sit down with the players on the team this year and have them tell their story. Get to know them a little more than what we see on the court. So I certainly appreciate the school for allowing this to happen and their trust.

Thank you so much for that compliment. It means more than you know. Billy did mention that there were a few people who said they enjoyed it at the BBQ which I heard was an amazing event and an amazing turnout. I hope to make it next year.

As long as a few people enjoy it, I'm going to keep putting the work in and doing them.

I think with Julian going pro, this need for someone stepping up naturally fell to him (and Posh). I wouldn't be surprised if that feeling of being looked at as a main senior cog in the wheel for this season is really that switch that has been flipped for him. So many things seem to be lining up for him to have a really positive season. Really looking forward to seeing it (hopefully) come to fruition
