Speaking of streaming, I got an email saying Playstation Vue is shutting down. That's what I use, because I don't have a cable box. Only use cable for internet. I stream Playstation Vue on my TV. You can do it through a PS4 or if you have a smart TV, through the Playstation Vue app which is what I do. I get all the possible channels SJ can play on for $49.99 per month (it's not the cheapest package).
So now it looks like I'll have to choose between Hulu and YouTube TV which is pretty new. Seems like similar pricing, however YouTube TV allows you to use an unlimited DVR online to record games which seems to be the selling point at the moment. Just found it interesting if others were considering cord-cutting or also had Vue and didn't realize they're discontinuing. The downside to YouTube TV at the moment is that I believe you can't watch on smart TV's yet and only on computers or phones but I could be wrong.
Cord-cutting has been fun for me, because I don't need a stupid, costly, and bulky thing taking up space. You will need to make sure you have very good internet speed though, because if not it will buffer. I think that's the last thing cable can hold onto right now. Also, when it says "Live" streaming it's often delayed compared to cable. I would be watching with friends who would yell "YES!" or "Crap" right as I'd be watching a SJ player shoot so it can be annoying knowing the outcome before it happens.
EDIT: I checked and YouTube TV does have an app for smart TV's.
