ESPN just released a 24-minute documentary called First Pitch, which chronicles then-president George W. Bush throwing out the first pitch at the 2001 World Series game in the Bronx, just over a month after the September 11 attacks.

The President threw a strike! Take that, terrorists!

I remember that well. All the fans on their feet cheering in a display of patriotism--except Rosie O'Donnell sitting in the seats behind home plate.
