Good interview, the kid cares, wants to be a leader, plays extremely hard and wants to improve his game. I feel bad for ripping him for UConn game. The kid is playing as hard as he can all the time. You have to respect that regardless.

Love this kid. Give me tough kids who can pass any day. He’s also top 10 in the BE in 3 pt%. Don’t put a cap on where he can end up. If we had two more of him we’d be in a great spot.

A lot of posters counted him out before he played a game. He has given a lot more than expected-both in terms of effort and production. One bad game against a long and athletic front line and he stars getting written off. I see improvements from last season, and expect him to continue to get better.

Have to love his toughness.  He makes smart plays but get offset to often by some really bad ones.

Hope he keeps improving..

Hard not to root for a kid like him..

If you think of Charles Barkley as the gold standard for what a thick strong aggressive tweener forward can do, then I want to coach Wusu towards that... fade aways, back to the basket moves, turn around jumpers in both directions, if you get too close he muscles past you.  I keep thinking he is a too small power forward who can compensate for his size deficit with strength, but with no other reliable shooting guard he and we are stuck, where his ball-handling weaknesses are magnified.  If Pinzon is healthy I think our rotation gets much better.

agree with everything you have said, but unfortunately he is being asked to do too much right now. Part is a result of Pinzon’s illness Another part is due to the lack of performance by Smith, Coburn and Mathis and he has Been forced into a role  he is I’ll equipped for. If the others would be producing at a higher rate and Dylan would be playing 20 minutes a game we would all be singing his praises.

Dylan is 1 of 3 BE players averaging at least:
10 points
4 assists
3.8 rebs

Of that group he averages the fewest TOs and has the best A:TO ratio.

And although just 4 games, he’s currently tops in the BE in 3pt% in conference games so far. On track for an all big east selection before his time is done.
