Villanova has 19 wins to date, 1 more than us. They have also won 6 of their last 7 games so this game should not be easy by any means. Right now only us and Depaul are getting any recognition from the pollsters so this is an absolute must win for Nova if they are to get any national respect. This is their last chance for a signature win prior to selection Monday.
We must come out focused from the opening tip and play the tough D which is our trademark.
As Mark said earlier Go Ladies.
 
St John's up at the half. Amber Thompson could give the men's team some lessons on 50/50 play.

Amber leading the way with 9 points and 13 boards as she appears to be on her way to another double double. Twice she has had 16 boards this season , it would be wonderful if she could have a new career high.

Final Score 69-56 for the ladies as they win their 11th in a row to go to 19-5 on the season.

Great, great win for the team as they continue their march for a high seeding in the big dance. :)
 
Handford lit it up in the second half and Amber was the difference inside all game as she had a career high in 'bounds. Grant showed some nice moves and Eugenia had a steady game with a big three down the stretch.

They did a nice peice on Eugenia at halftime, she came across a very personable and polished young lady.
 
Great win against a good opponent
So impressed with our effort on defense
Handford was a monster in the second half
Can't say enough about how much Thompson has improved this year
With another great recruiting class coming in next year, the future is very bright for this program
