for those who haven't noticed...the charlotte bobcats are 3-3 right now. not bad for a team that won only seven games last season..

In 6 games they've had 5 different leading scorers, 4 different leading rebounders and 6 different leading assist guys.

Dunlap must have beat the team concept into them.

I am glad to see Coach Dunlap doing well in the NBA. I thought he did a good job with our team last year in a difficult situation. I think it is also recognition of the "quality" coaches that are now around (or were) our program. Hopefully, he continues to do well which hopefully speaks well of our program and St. John's.

Also helps to have added Ben Gordon, Ramon Sessions, Brendan Haywood, Michael Kidd-Gilchrist, and Jeff Taylor :)

Session, Gordon, and MKG are 2nd, 3rd and 4th leading scorers on the team. Last years leading scorer, Gerald Henderson, is still a starter, but is only 5th in scoring - one of 6 Bobcats averaging double figures. Kemba Walker leads the team in scoring and assists (18.5 and 5.2) with Sessions #2 in both (16.0/4.7)....

What's also been huge is Dunlap figuring out how to get positive results out of Byron (the artist formerly known as BJ) Mullens, who's producing 11.2 pts and 8.0 rebs, both career highs. Last year he made 12 threes in 66 games. So far this year, he's made 11 in 6 games.

Another win for Dunlap and the 'Cats!

Kemba with the game winner.

Also, another trade for the Bobcats - traded Matt Carroll today for Hakim Warrick....Carroll had only gotten into 1 game (6 minutes) this season for Dunlap. Warrick is stil only 30 years old, and gives them some mobility up front off the bench - Dunlap really likes to push the ball, and if healthy, Warrick fits. Plus, he's an expiring conract (team option for next year) so little risk or cost....

For those who haven't noticed, Ben Gordon has not played the last two games, both wins. It appears that Coach Dunlap, with the help of MJ, has gotten the players to buy into the concept of working hard and being in good shape. Kemba's shot last night reminds me of the one he took against Pitt to win a game during the Big East championship in 2011.

none who'll be confused with lebron or kyrie. yes, it's early...but the turnaround thus far is remarkable!

I thought I read somewhere that he took a couple of games to deal with family issues..I could be wrong, but thats what i thought i read...

I also read he took time to deal with some family/personal issues. I only mentioned that he did not play to show that even without him, the Bats won.

I watched the end of the game to see them get that 7th win....I am really impressed with the job Coach Dunlap has done so far with the Bobcats....Such a solid coach and I'm rooting for those Bobcats!

I wonder if the players are still crying that he's making them do high school-level drills. Hiring Dunlap was literally the best thing Jordan has done as an executive.

I think we jinxed Coach Dunlap. They have lost 13 straight since getting win # 7.

Redmen will have something to cheer about tonight though. The Bobcats play Mark Jackson's Warriors who are off to a nice 17-9 start with David Lee and Stephen Curry leading the way. Glad to see Mark doing well...

Life on the road in the NBA can be cruel. Bobcats lost 15th straight last night. They lost by 22 to the Nuggets in Denver. They get a break for Christmas and return home to play the Heat on Wednesday. Ouch!

Good maybe he can get canned midseason and come back to STJ
