This is a great article and acknowledgement of a terrific young man. In a winning is everything culture, guys like this are often overlooked. It's almost astounding to me that Pitino would recognize this kid as a centerpiece of the culture he wanted to build here.
Think of that. The kind of person you'd want in your company, in your office, on your project team. An encourager, a supporter, a guy who will joyfully do any task assigned to him. Who elevates others with a contagious attitude and ethic. Another guy whose on court experience can translate into post playing success. I'd love to have a guy like that in my organization and I had several.
On another very important note from this article, please read or watch the inspring story of BC's "Man ine the red bandana" Welles Crowther, a BC grad saved at least 10 people in the World Trade Center during the attacks on 9/11 at the cost of his own life and Boston College constantly honors this young alum's heroic action.
