Based on Lavin's pronouncements of certain players in prior years.......the above means that trio mentioned above have possibly regressed.

That's interesting about Adonis.Could be another X factor with the frontcourt. He's more or less been relegated by most on this board (including me) as a longer-term project. Maybe he'll surprise us.

I still believe he is in some ways a longer-term project. But there are things that he currently possesses that could immediately translate well for him (ie, size; light feet; adept passer; decent shooting touch; and good hands).

I actually think he can help a lot right away in certain areas if he shows up even reasonably non-sluglike . . . but I prefer that Lavin stay mum on the subject.

I would rather be pleasantly surprised about what may happen instead of having to endure posters criticize coach 10 years from now for heaping praise on a guy who turned out to only average 2 ppg as a freshman.

Beware of preseason accolades & BS. Hope he does help. We'll see soon. Like when Hooper hit all those threes against "Linguini Midgets" last summer. Kidding!

Wow, absurd lateral quickness? Because he turned that ball over less then Cotton he is more efficient? No its because Phil never gets any players involved.

I like Phil, I am guilty of getting on him too much, but this is a reason why. People make him out to more than he is. Which in reality is our 4th best guard.

I don’t like the dismissive tone about Seton Hall. We are 3-1 against them over Harrison's time. The loss was by 30 points. Last year's victories were by one point apiece and easily could have gone their way. One thing for certain--he's upped the ante on the season opener.

Whoa- where in my post did I say we shouldn't get credit?? I said they were close games that could have gone other way. Which is true. And why Harrison should not be so dismissive of them.
