If Jordan continue to play like he did against Fordham against the likes of St Mary's, Duke, Nova, and Georgetown he should start to show up on draft boards. Consider 16 hours ago he posted "I think his ankle is fine. It's his head that's the sore spot." regarding Chris in they Joey Delarosa thread.
And prior to that post 8 months ago he posted "Maybe that great coach -- Donovan -- told him he should go back to SJU. Or maybe he told him he's not good enough to play at FL." in an Obekpa thread.
Too add he mentioned Jakarr choking the Robert Morris player as well.
Just to clarify: Obekpa is #31 on the 2015 mock draft. That is a huge jump for him. From what I can tell he is also the only Big East player on there.
Jordan is currently #56 on the 2016 mock draft. Isaiah Whitehead is #35. Isaiah Briscoe is #9.

All I will say is that, if both Jordan and Obepka continue to climb up the draft boards it means that they are playing really well and that in turn should mean that the team is has a successful season. I think both of them could benefit from another year here which is how most of us on this board feel, but, if they play well enough to go and the team is successful I will take that. Hopefully, if that is what happens at the end it gives our recruiting a nice jolt and we wind up getting some good quality recruits here. I would think that although our chances of landing Diallo are slim, if Obepka keeps climbing the draft boards, it can only help us with him.

Thanks jack. He refuses to re-enter a game, he says he is transferring, then decides to remain, he wears stupid shorts just so announcers can say his name and show his picture on TV (in a stupid way), he smiles and laughs whenever he makes a mistake, he loses his cool way too often and then makes out to be the offended one, all knowing full well he's our only option for C. He's idiot #1
Come on, these are college kids. Cut them some slack. Just look at this team and where it is today compared to where it was last year with basically the same kids. I think most posters on this board are excited and proud of this teams effort so far. We are ranked #20 in the country. Get excited!

Try -193 on for size. All because I defended Lavin when you guys were crapping on him. Well, not even defending him, but refusing to crap on him. Who cares? I'm sure one idiot was logging on 4 times a day and minusing me every 6 hours for weeks on end. I'm sure in was Maher. Just kidding.
Glad someone has picked up the whole smile and laugh show. CO is a great player, can't knock him, but he's capable of so much more. His attitude does need an adjustment, a bit of humility. We haven't won s**t yet, yet at times he ask's as if he is, hmm, God's gift to us (no pun intended)
So CO smiles when he gets called for a foul or goaltend? Would you rather him get in the refs face and scream at him? Jesus, the things you guys are pulling out of your ass to complain about because we are actually winning is quite comical. Or pathetic.
I've seen no problem with Chris until the Fordham game when he got ejected. Other than that, what has he done other than smile? He has been engaged on the bench when he is in foul trouble or fouled out, he listens intently to Lavin during timeouts, he has played within himself and has showed remarkable improvement. He has anchored the team down low all season.
And please stop with the we haven't won s**t yet. We won at Syracuse which we couldn't do since 99, we beat Minnesota who were getting many top 25 votes at the time and are also NIT defending champions. We have yet to slip up against every mid major that has played us tough. And we are ranked for the first time since 2011.
I'm aware we have a ton of season left, and a lot left to accomplish this year. But we are in the top 25 and have beaten two solid basketball teams, let's not act like this hasn't been a great season thus far.

What's comical is you nit picking and saying who can complain about what. You found it necessary to dedicate and entire thread to the color of a uniform being worn, so in the old cliche, look who's talking.
If you watch the reactions, it's as if I never committed a foul type of thing. And yeah sure his attitude doesn't need fixing, no, no way, he only got tossed against a bush league team in the first half. C'mon now. Just because you like him doesn't mean there aren't any flaws or room for improvement. Against any other team, or any decent team, we are doomed if that happens. Sorry to offend your boy, but he could use a bit more humility.

Thanks Jack. I certainly don't expect and would not want CO to get in a ref's face over a call. But please don't smile and laugh as if you've done nothing wrong, and that you are the wronged one. Take the call, and run back down the court. Ask the ref about the call in a gentlemanly manner on the next timeout. D-Lo (our former bad boy) does this. Laughing mocks the refs. And wear normal length shorts, CO. You want to be on Top Ten b/c of your play (as you have), not your fashion statements (as he also has).To be clear, I am not attacking the team in the least. They have done a wonderful job thus far, beating top opponents, and soundly defeating those who they should beat, unlike in past years when they've eeked out a squeaker, or given a "season-maker" a-la Michigan-NJIT. But CO needs to grow up, and end the on court shenanigans. I agree with Chris7...he is capable of so much more. (btw, like the "god's gift" unintended pun)
