doubting redmen

this team ( and recruits) is really shaping up, contrary to some negativism having been displayed in the last few weeks.

More than shaping up. We're hitting lots of needs and with quality players. Add a 7-footer like Chandler whom few will be able to stop and we can be excellent entering next season.

I would love to see Wood and Nolan verbal.....

I'd prefer Chandler and Wood, but if Chandlerdoesnt work out then Nolan would be excellent.

I like to think about who we will get but let's talk about waht we have gotten. This could be a real contender lke (Rocky)

I wonder if hooper won't pay his way??? Seeing how his pops is big time!

If he does, can he play next season being as he's not using a scholie?

No he still has to sit the year.

Damnnnnn!

Patience my man :)

It's so hard to be patient when you see Sensi working his magic. Coach makes me feel like we should win every game, forever. Thank you, Coach Lavinwood. You have brought excitement back into our program!

Lavin spoke about a great class again and delivered. Just great , especially after the disappointing news coming from the Barnes Arico camp. Great to see Lavin and staff focused on the task at hand, recruiting, the life blood of college basketball. Because make no mistake the Barnes Arico news had to shake up the campus.

This is not a GREAT CLASS so far. It is good. Let's see who commits next to elevate to a great class.

Under Lavin, there are and have been more kids interested in joining the team than Lavin was willing to add. Look at who is involved now for two spots: Chandler, Nolan, Wood, Goodman, Turner, Morris (to a lesser degree), etc. Lavin does not want-- nor can he even if he wanted--to add all of them. I'm sure he has his preferences out of the group.

Lavin is like a Hold'em player in that he slow-plays from time to time. I think GG was an example of that last year.

Doubting Lavin in recruiting is just silly.

Quote of the year. Put it on a banner and let it wave on at Carnesecca and MSG. That quote just nailed it. Thanks !

Right now it's borderline top 20.

Rankings will never do this class justice because of its unique makeup. Branch was #52, but won't be considered in the rankings. Sampson was #40, but won't be ranked by may services as a fifth year senior. Heck, we might get Carson and he was ranked #14. The rankings of those three recrutis alone would give us a top ten class.

Sanchez and Bourgault also do little to help, as they are JUCO's.

I'm suggesting you mean Turner, instead of Carson. I see you continue to think of Jahii Carson. Sanchez is also considered a 4-star recruit, per Rivals.

We have Nolan visiting this weekend and Goodman visiting the weekend after. So those two are the ones that are the top two for filling up our final two spots. Now, if Chandler becomes eligible, Nolan and Chandler are our top two.
