Here's hoping the visiting team spoils the evening, just like another one did for Looie's big night.

Detriot was suppose to be one of the favorites in the Horizon league, but they are not off to a good start. 3-6, with one of those wins being against a non- Division 1 opponent.

I am fearful, however, that a national TV event like this will be exactly what they need to get it right, that's on top of all of our other problems.

No Lavin tomorrow, but he'll be calling in to the broadcast again. Fraschilla doing the analysis, which I have mixed feelings about.

Detroit hasn't had their best big man (Holman) all year. His replacement is now out as well. McCallum is their best player but struggling a bit this year.

Correct Moose, they are a radically different team with 6 10 Eli Holman manning the paint. He was one of the top returning rebounders in Division 1 and his absence is huge for them. This game, pre-season was scheduled to be a tough challenge. That has changed and this game has become a must win for SJU IMHO.

SJU wins tonight. Does anyone know if they flew home after the Kentucky game, or did they stay on the road over the weekend?

we should win this one tonight. detroit has lost to some really awful teams

line is a pick 'em,

That's what I saw also.

Actually, Statsheet had us favored by half-a-point, which is something I've never seen before. But, if you think about it, that really is a pick'em.

Half a point in a basketball game? I wouldn't pay attention to what Statsheet puts out in the future :)

Yeah, I don't know where they came up with that. They are usually pretty in tune with the lines, though.

No clue on this line. I saw us as 1.5 pt favs. No clue why its so low. Bet the house CCnobz!

Don't think this one will be as easy as it might look. The are bigger, deeper and more experienced than us. And we're on thr road. They have 4 guys 6-7, 6-8, 6-9 and 6-10 who get significant minutes. They don't shoot the three well but they are very good from the line. Hopefully our speed and atleticism will prevail.

In order of leading scorers-

Chase Simon is 6'6
Ray McCallum is 6'1
Minnerath is 6'8 but out for year with an injury
Anderson is 6'5
Calliste is 6'2
Lowe is 6'11 and averages 7pts and 5 boards a game.
Bruinsma is 6'7 but only plays 17 mpg
Foster is 5'10

Well, so much for stats. Bookies have and innate sence, that can be inane.
