Louisville is only team with more than one 1st or 2nd teamer including POY Siva. A bit of parity at the top.

Including honorable mentions Ville has 3, UND and Cuse 2 of top 15 players.

Didn't the BE used to release a list of a team for pre-season rookie / newcomers of the year? I'd be interested to see if the other coaches are as excited about Sampson / Sanchez as we are.

Last year people slept on Cooley and Kilpatrick.
Also, love Peyton Siva, but he didn't make any awards last season and people are predicting him as a player of the year this season. Little inconsistent.

The player most really slept on was Jason Clark. The only guy on the pre season list that ended up being a total disappointment was Oriakhi. And of course Abro missed the season, which could have been a great one. FYI he's playing in the top level league in France which just started their season.

They totally blew it on Ashton Gibbs (and Pitt).

And Drummond didn't have the kind of year to garner those votes.
