Congrats SS&G. If by Big D you mean divorce, one day you will wake up and suddenly realize how much happier you are. Just don't keep the war going. It's not worth the headache.
Was wondering where SS&G had disappeared to. When considering all the possibilities -- some of them pretty grim (look at our esteemed CR Green) -- it was good to hear of the reasons behind your disappearance ... and that's not to belittle or underestimate the pain and suffering a divorce can bring.
Anyway, good to know you're healthy and still with us. Your posts are always appreciated, and I think it's safe to say no poster is more courteous or polite than you.
Hang in there! Time heals all wounds.
Simplyred, Kranmars, redken, marillac, NYMase, maseibyourface, monte and whomever else - did I miss anyone???
I very much appreciate your support and kind words. Very much.
Working in the courts most of my life, I have seen tens of thousands of people pass by before me. Let me just reflect on this: when the man gets the kids and home, well then that says it all.
Blessings still exist:
I have no hate, animosity just want to get on with my life and find someone "kind" if you know what I mean.
My son at UMass and wrote me a love letter on how much I meant to him over the years, always there etc. I cried.
My daughter is wonderful on her way to law school, equally supportive.
And I have their dogs (black labraadoodle nad chocolate lab) and am moving on.
"You guys" are terrific and I am surprised and grateful for your support - and that from some of my West Point "band of brothers"
all the best
And oh yes, one day at a game I plan to wear an "SS&G" (three of my favorite generals of course) shirt and perhaps some here will notice it and come by to say hello. I have no faces behind any of the posters
