Dickie V. Comments on St. John's

 Dickie V lost at "I am a big believer in Rutgers"... Noting last nights loss at home to St Peters
 
 Funny how he was raving about us last year now we fell off the map apparently. During the Detroit and Duke games last year, "Oh ya gunna love Lavin's kids!", "Now that's a BIG diaper dandy!", "Look at Lavin's diaper dandies!". Now he is drooling over Rutgers who can't even beat the team projected to be LAST in the MAAC.

Vitale is an ACC man and big Duke and Notre Dame fan there are no two ways about it. He pays lip service to St Johns and is in my view prejudiced against the Johnnies (but he naturally tries to mask those feelings). Personally I would prefer not seeing him do any telecasts of our games. Let him tour with the ACC. We never seem to be good enough for him and I am talking even before the "fall" of the program in Pittsburgh years back.
 
Caught some of the Kentucky game last night ( very loose term, it was 15-3 before you could blink). Dick gave some props to CM and the team on a nice win against Butler and for the Orange crush.
