So who do you all have

sentimental pick:Forte

The one I’m betting on Angel Empire

will not be upset to lose this bet and see Forte win
 
I wonder if he skips Forte from the Preakness and builds him up for the Belmont Stakes. Repole could then have consecutive Belmont wins, which is an accomplishment.

I would have had money on Forte based on his credentials and Mike/Vinny combo ownership.

Agree with your lean to Angel of Empire and may box exacta with co Favorite Tapit Trice. For longer odds like Verifying.
 
I think this may be the year that the UAE Derby winner actually does something in the Derby as the U.S. horses are kind of a weak lot speed figure wise. I'll probably bet Angel of Empire to win and box him in an exacta with Derma Sotogake and a couple of longshots.
 
Because I like a price and I don’t see a lot of speed up front give me Kingsbarn.

But it’s the derby, it’s as much of a crap shoot as any race can be. All you need is to be one of the worlds fastest horse, have a ride that doesn’t make you run an extra 1/8 of a mile, and not get canned out of the gate. Easy peasy, right. Good luck to all my fellow board wagers. If we have enough people at least one of us should get a win 😂

My wife bet $2 on Kingsbarns because she watched the coronation this morning lol!
 
I will go with Sunday's Silence's Progeny Derma Sotogake.
