DePaul game today

DePaul has won 9 straight games and has only 2 Big East defeats to the Hall and Nova. Johnnie's can do nothing with Podkowa and Schulte and have lost twice by large margins. Hard for a team to beat another three times in a season but looks like that will happen.

It doesn't help that the game will be played in Chicago
It's a home game for DePaul
This is a must win game if we are to make the NCAA tourney

Yeah, and not at Allstate either, but their cushy little on-campus facility.

Still, last night probably put us in the NCAA tournament. Charlie Creme has us as either the 5th or 6th last at large team as of right now, so unless things get really wacky, we should be good (assuming loss tonight won't hurt us too much, if at all).

A very tough game, but if there is ever a game our two senior stars should be up for it is tonight against DePaul.
I am not prepared to write this game off before it starts.
Super Aliyyah was in a funk for a while but seems to be going in the right direction.
Lets go Redmen. :p

Let's go Ladies!!!

Ladies were down 10, but a 6-0 to end the quarter cuts it to 45-41 entering the 4th.

Winner would get #7 seed Creighton in the finals, who have gone on a Cinderella run over the last three days, beating Providence, Villanova, and Seton Hall.

56-54 St. John's, with 5 minutes to go.

Big time comeback in the second half, sparked by an opportunistic defense.

Final: St. John's 75, DePaul 66!

St. John's vs. Creighton (playing for the fourth straight day) for the championship, tomorrow night, 8 pm on FS1!

These girls want it bad.
We have two stars who are both playing well. Ok great.
Told you they would fight.

Great joy shown by Grant and Hanford in the postgame interviews. Good help from others tonight. On to tomorrow night!
