Deja vu again

When Holek walked up to Stanley at the foul line it reminded me of the Holiday Festival in the
mid 60s when Kenny Mc Intyre walked up to a Michigan player at the foul line late in the game and said something
to him. SJ won that game against the #2 team in the country . Interesting that at the end of that season SJ forced Joe Lapchick
out as coach and Louie replaced him. I'm sure there are a few posters who remember those events .

I remember the game as you can see by my name but I did not know that. Maybe he was telling him the good surfing spots in LI or what time to go to the Salty Dog. :)

I was at that Holiday Festival in the old garden...still have the program. I don't remember that incident. Not that it didn't happen. I thought Michigan was number 1 at the time.

Rowan was able to save us because Pearl missed a one on one that would have sealed the game.
True, Pearl was 4-4 prior to that miss, and made two at the 1:11 mark giving Cuse a 69-66 lead.
