After tonight's win, we've played 11 games this season. We've held opponents to under 60 points in 8 of those games. Pretty good statistic.

We are doubling down as well as we have in the last 15years easily. If an opponent gets the ball down low and doesn't do something pronto, he is swarmed on by one or more guards, often resulting in a turnover or a nervous shot hoisted at pointer or CO to swat. The guards get a lot of credit for what is happening down low.

There is a resemblance to the defense played against St John's by the strong Georgetown teams of the 80's. They have a long way to go, but they have rattled ball handlers on some decent teams.

I do agree that they now need to carry this in the BE season.

We are ranked 4th in the NCAA in defense efficiency in the Pomeroy ratings. They are a completely unemotional algebraic formulation.
We saw the effect of the kids hard work tonight; I wouldn't want to play us no matter how good my team was. StJ the fastest hands, in in what I have seen in college, this year.
