I posted this on the other board but figured the older poster on here might enjoy the comparison.

I never thought I would see a senior improve as much going into his last year as David Cain did but now he has company. Pointer is pulling off an Artest / Draymond Green impersonation. Who saw that coming?

Pointer is very much improved and it is great to see. Just imagine how great this team would be if Lavin was able to hold onto some of the guys who left.

As far as Cain he had a really good senior season that year. When he was an underclass man he dribbled way too much and it took him a long time to learn to play the right way.

Cain's improvement actually started about midway through his Junior year. Chudney Gray is another one who's improved tremendously and it showed from about the mid point of his Junior year to his senior season when he was arguably the best 6th man in the country.

When did Postell make his big jump? Was it soph to junior or junior to senior?

More of a gradual improvement in Lavor's case.

He got a little bit better every year, which in the end, meant that he was way better as a senior, then he was as a freshman.
