 Man -- coach has been so positive about recruiting even a skeptic like me thinks he must have an ace up his sleeve. I just can't imagine he would continue to give these quotes if he didn't know something we don't. Here's hoping its not just bravado
 
He does sound positive... I like it. His team has had a lot of obstacles to overcome this year. Kudos to both the kids and to the coaches for keeping their chins up. We appreciate their efforts.
 
 
I agree-definitely appreciate the heart and work of the players and staff in holding together with just 6 players while playing a tough schedule.

I can't help but admire and envy it.

It's the stuff of which leadership is made.
 
It would make it alot easier for Steve's health and recruiting decisions if both Sampson and Obepka would make up their mind now.
 
Wow, never heard the Lavin to USC rumor before. Hope there isn't anything to it.

Hopefully Lavin can get Sampson to recommit. We desperately need size and depth.
