Our fans can expect reduced ticket prices and more games in Carnesecca than a year ago. We will continue to build a championship program and put our program in the best possible opportunity to win games - both on campus and at MSG

Personally, I get excited when we meet and talk about next year. We are looking to provide a spirit and rallying point for our area - in everything we do. Our renewals will be going out soon - strategic and fan-friendly. Thank you for asking and for your support!

As you would expect in this current situation - the schedule is more regionally-based and focused on us preparing for a loaded Big East with two additional games. We should be announcing the slate of games by June 1.

We are waiting for Gavitt Games home opponent and date - that will trigger our overall planning and coordination with all our sports and rest of non-conference. Can’t wait! Appreciate you being on board with us!

not a season ticket holder- attend games when i can- but that has to be some good news for many on here regarding prices. Curious to hear how big a % reduction is offered.

Like the idea of local opponents... anyone hear about Iona getting a new coach? lol

Very professional ending to the tweet- the ole "thank you in advance" ending to place your mind in agreement with his direction...

Would assume less MSG games means overall cheaper package, would think CA games will cost relatively the same. Just a guess.

Definitely too early to make any decisions on attending any kind of events, but I would really have to think long and hard about ever attending an event CA again, when you consider the lack of air circulation and how cramped it is. I feel like I dodged a bullet the week of March 7th-14th, when I was at MSG 3 times. Plus subways, buses, etc. Not going to be pushing my luck anytime soon.

There will probably only be 5 MSG games I imagine. Holiday Festival game, Villanova, Seton Hall, Georgetown and UConn.

What about Big East vs Big Ten game and the Big East vs Big 12 game? Gavit games will be played at Barclays.

If you attended 3 events in a coronavirus hot spot there may be a chance that you had the virus and not even knew it. Testing will surprise a lot of people in the coming months.
Stay safe

That thought has definitely crossed my mind Bill. Obviously I would be good if I found out that I had it already, if/when I am able to get tested, Thanks for concerns, wishing you and your family safety and good health as well.

To me, less then 5 at MSG. Cragg said Big 10 game is on campus.

In the past it almost appeared like a game. Increase MSG games, increase prices, , then the next year reduce MSG games and keep prices the same or slightly increase CA games. I'm not sure, just my perception.

Valid concerns regarding in game attendance, tragedy did happen -

I will not travel on NYC subways or buses for quite a while, but until my kids moved into the city, hardly ever did over the previous 30 years. Will take precautions on LIRR which is not often as crowded.

By next November I hope things are much more back to normal.

CA ventilation problems should be addressable with an improved HVAC system, and I will bring this up if I can. I think the trick is to dress in layers and in a t shirt or golf shirt I'm not very bothered as the temperature rises from presumably body heat alone.

We should all be immune from Covid at CA. We've all died a thousand deaths there already in our lifetimes.

Re Josh Roberts availability;

“All indications are that Josh is progressing well and working hard on rehab. We certainly hope to get him and whole team back on campus - to help accelerate process and begin the team-building and campus life.”

Not sure how anyone else feels about this, but from a purely health standpoint, I’d rather be with 5-6k(obviously more against some schools) other fans in MSG, then in CA. I wonder how much thought the school and Cragg put in to health risk, or whether this was purely driven by the finances?

In addition to a reduction in ticket prices need to include a one million dollar life insurance policy at least until viable vaccine and or treatment is readily available.

I'd be surprised if we even play next year. Don't think the empty stadiums thing would work for NCAA, either.

As for the feedback, I don't like that we're likely going back to a handful of MSG games, but not unexpected. Seems we struggle to find that sweet spot between last year (too many during a rebuilding year) and 2 years ago (not enough).

I expect prices to still be significantly higher than 2 years ago, though that may change with the coronavirus impact. As a poster above me mentioned, next year would be perfect for more MSG games (spread out fans). Same goes for Barclays assuming MSG would be too expensive.

Must be really tough navigating all this now.

Your post reminded me of a story from years ago. An alum and long-time season ticket holder spoke to AD, Ed Manetta, at halftime of a game at the Alumni Hall sweatbox, and begged him to open the windows above the red seats to get some fresh, cool air into the arena. Manetta responded he couldn't do it because pigeons would fly in.

Sure health risk was not the driving consideration. They won't move all games to MSG simply to space fans out, at least not at this point. Should this linger, perhaps that will be an option - MSG with a few thousand fans, safely spaced apart.

Unless MSG is giving us a discount next year I do not see many or any home games there. Cragg stated we will not play there until the earliest January and all cards are on the table to play all games at CA.

No fans or few fans still hurts the schools bottom line
