Trump's obsession with Obama caused him and his administration to ignore the Pandemic manual he was given, yes the same guidelines that McConnell said were not given before backtracking. He also disbanded the Pandemic Response team. In his haste to try to write Obama out of history, he caused damage.
What about the impeachment that the Democrats were doing and distracting Trump?
