Excellent news! (Says this Dozo class of 1981 alum)...

Tiny can't win the PSAL with a McDonald's All-American and his son? Nice grab, Seton Hall.

What's the deal with Rashond Salnave? I just heard of the kid a month ago, but he looks legit in the VERY little I've seen on him. Has anyone seen him play?

Salnave's biggest advocate is the JJ poster chilleb.

Great to see Lincoln lose in the semi's. It should be interesting to see how Cardozo does when they play Christ the King.

Final game should be a good one too if LuHi wins the other semi. Haven't followed the public league playoffs the past few years like I used to, so don't know if any of those teams are a legit threat. No undefeateds in the state semis, but Brentwood is 22-2.

LI public schools don't have a shot at the Catholic schools this year. CTK seems like a real legit team to me...I'd expect them to roll over Cardozo, but that kid definitely caught my eye. I'll have to look into it...because I was literally like "who the f*ck is that?!"

Saw Cardozo play reasonably well v. St. Anthony's a few weeks back, but agree CTK is out of their league. That Soph, Salnave, is super however.

Saw them beat Farmingdale for the LI champs. A young team with some good sophomores.

CTK has good division one talent at pretty much every position. I would be surprised if they lost.

I would love to see an undefeated team from LI in two years. Happens too infrequently, but definitely tough at the AA level.

I believe there Center, who is a senior and is coming off of a series leg injury that kept him from playing last spring and summer, is going to a low to mid major D1 program. As for the sophs, it will be interesting to see what happens. Last highly rated Brentwood player was JJ Moore who wound up going prep his senior year for better competition before going on to Pitt and now Rutgers.

The LI Champs have to win the State Championship (which the city schools are not involved in) in order to get to the Federation Championships.

Saw the kid from Cardozo on TV at the FSNY Tournament. He looked good. Like to see good prospects in the area, both the City and LI.
