How is recruiting and next season shaping up?
Two major losses - PG Aaliyah Lewis and F-C Jade Walker
Two recruits who will hopefully fill their spots:
1. Qadashah Hoppie, a 5'7" PG from Staten Island (Lewis was also from Staten Island). Ranked #44 recruit in the Class of 2017. Nominated for McDonald's All American Game. At last check, was averaging 14.2 PPG, 3.8 rebounds, 3.3 assists and 3.9 steals per game.
2. Kayla Charles, a 6'3" forward from Bryant HS in Queens. Averaged 12.4 PPG, 17.1 rebounds and 4.5 assists per game as a junior. Known to be a very good rebounder and shot blocker.
3. Curteeona Brelove, a 6'2" forward transfer from VCU. Averaged 8.3 PPG and 6.6 rebounds per game playing only 22 minutes per game. Already played 3 years at VCU. Will sit our next season and have one year of eligibility left.
