Congrats Federico M

Although one former user loved to trash him, the kid could play and is a great guy. Had we not lost him we wouldnt have gone into the tailspin when Lovett bailed.

Best to him

Trieste not only finished at the top of their Division but the big celebration in the city of Trieste is that they have been automatically promoted to the Italian First Division (Series A) after toiling in the lower division for many years.
For those not familiar with Italian professional basketball, teams have to "earn" the right to play in the top league and the bottom teams get relegated to lower divisions.
Federico Mussini was "loaned" to Trieste to shore up their backcourt and in the game prior to the championship he played a fantastic game scoring 15 points while playing point guard.
It will be interesting to see if his Reggio Emilia team recalls him or continues to allow him to play in Trieste. Trieste has the option to sign him.
THIS is why he left St. John's. Glad he is having success back home.

Great kid, great ambassador of the school , came here and was asked to play out of position and did it more than admirably for 2 seasons. Never saw a player more unfairly criticized and yet he always gave 110% and looked so happy. Was very sad when he left and knew he would be missed far more than many on this board réalised.
