Congrats Dom

The versatility or "Costco" nature of SDP's production has been there since the beginning of the year.

What has really picked up in conference play is his scoring. After starting Big East play with three straight single-digit scoring outputs (although 2 of those 3 were 9 points each), Dom has rattled off 14 straight double-digit performances. 11 of those 14 games he's gotten 15 points or more. Especially impressive in that he's scored more as the competition has gotten tougher.

He deserves 1st team All-BE and should certainly be in the mix for POY. With no runaway favorite I feel like this week really matters in the POY race.

CBS and NBC named him their players of the week too. Not just for the conference, i think in college basketball, period.

For Dom's sake, I really, really hope he gets drafted. He deserves a shot.

Four year player for SJU. Got better every year. Makes headlines for all the right reasons. Wonderful hair.

Be a great addition for the right NBA team (i.e., not the Knicks :))

This might sound overly simplistic, but in my opinion the main thing really holding Dom back from being attractive at the NBA level is the inability to make wide open NBA 3s. It seems like that is the primary factor that separates the energy/motor/defense/intangible guys that stick in the league and those that don't. Have to be able to make defenses pay for doubling off you.

Hopefully he lives in the gym to become a somewhat consistent standstill 3 point shooter, and I'm sure he will. Like you, hoping he gets a real look at the next level!

Keep thinking that Dom with a Sam Jones style bank shot from behind the arc becomes a very rich man from basketball.

D-League is full of guys trying to impress with that shot and they never will. I think he has a better shot focusing on his existing strengths (KYG) and getting on a team that doesn't need him to be a 3pt shooter.
