My thoughts as well. UVA will never be competitive. Va Tech is a different story....a lot more fan interest.

We've made it through an August without any UConn Big 12 rumors, the last time we didn't hear any was 2022. In 2023 and 2024 they were coming off of NCAA Titles a few months prior. Football obviously drives conference realignment, but basketball played a major role in the rumors. Also think the Big 12 wanted to destabilize the Big East during their TV contract negotiations. This year St. John's owned the Big East, so UConn's appeal went down some I'd imagine.

Last week UConn blew a big lead @ Syracuse and lost in OT. This week they once again blew a lead and lost in OT @ Delaware.

Could easily be 3-0 and making some realignment noise, but instead it's turning into a disastrous season for them.

I think their best bet is if ACC crumbles and the traitors stick together in a semi-lame attempt at recreating Big East football.

The only thing that makes me happier than unhappy Uconn basketball fans is Unhappy Uconn Football fans especially if it's the same fans of both
