I re-listened to that. Cracked me up again.
Just got back from a 3 day road trip with daughter to visit 4 schools in midwest (Xavier, Dayton. Loyola, Depaul). Few weeks back we visited Villanova, St. Joe's and Providence and over the summer went to Fordham, Seton Hall and of course St. John's.
The admissions administrators scripts and student tour guide all sound similar, kids generally look the same and it's nearly impossible to see how rankings have meaning. Comparing a bigger school in a major metropolitan area, is way different than a medium school in suburban midwest with different academic focuses.
BTW - Xaviers on campus basketball arena was really sweet. They held open house in there. Those students bleed X.
