Coaching Carousel

Marjerle's on the hot seat after 4 consecutive 20 win seasons and is having one off year in 2020.

Wow!!!!!!!! Tough Business.

According to an @ACCSports source, Wake Forest and the agent for head coach Danny Manning have begun negotiations for a potential buyout

Figured his days were numbered there.

Open the checkbook and try to get Marshall? Or ignore Odom's record and bring him in?

Grand Canyon University has parted ways with Dan Majerle,

Mikey Dixon packing :)

Rob Ehsan out at UAB, Mike Anderson's old job. Goodie saying that former Ole Miss coach Andy Kennedy is obvious choice.

Steve McClain out at UIC.

I think the 3 or 4 jobs in the Power 5 + BE that may see openings are:

-Wake Forest and Boston College are likely to make changes'
-Texas with Smart
-DePaul with Leitao
-I think Josh Pastner will stick for another year.

Breaking: Source tells @CBSSports that Rick Pitino has told his Panathinaikos B.C. players that he is returning to college basketball but will finish out the Euroleague season if/when it resumes. League halted play earlier this week and Pitino is currently in the United States.

Not saying it will happen, but there is a lot of buzz going around, Pitino and a top Iona donor have owned horse together and the new Iona president has a history with Pitino as well.

If true, our local recruiting could take a big hit.

Coaching changes used to be a good account to follow. Nowadays it throws so much shit out there and clearly has agendas in most of its tweets.

Whatever anyone thinks of Pitino, the guy can coach, recruit and develop players. Iona will be good in short time. I would hope Mike Cragg would explore playing Iona at MSG, if Pitino becomes their coach.

Some of us would prefer that Pitino never be allowed to coach in the United States again.

Beware the Pitino virus. Can lead to years of isolation.

Pitino to Iona is gonna be horrible for this board if he has success. How many “we should’ve hired pitino” guys are gonna come out of the woodwork especially the ones who were pushing for him last offseason. Buckle up
