To put the disparity between Kentucky and St. Peter’s in perspective, Kentucky has four *assistant* coaches who make more than St. Peter’s head coach Shaheen Holloway. He’s thought to make around $250,000 (private school). UK’s assistants range from $850,000 to $300,000

2.  I'm pretty sure Marquette's season lasted 40 minutes longer than St. John's.

Calipari has a $44 million buyout.  I believed he signed a lifetime contract a few years ago.  He is not going anywhere.

If your disappointment is leading you to call for a Kentucky coaching change, it would cost UK some $44.025 million to remove Calipari without cause.

C'mon, who really cares about coaches' salaries.  Even the disparity between blue blood programs and small D1 programs.  I don't.  Did anyone think such disparities don't exist?   Coaches are entitled to get whatever they can negotiate.  They, like professional athletes, are few and far between with their special skills.

I don't know about that. There appear to be hundreds of highly qualified coaches on Redmen,com alone.
