And Keady has managed to get married twice whereas some Redmen.com'ers are merely engaged.

Coach Keady is The BEST !
Sat next to him at dinner when we played Kentucky last year the night before the game.
Had at least 2 great lines:
The SEC stands for: Still Excellent at Cheating
And
The NCAA got so mad at Kentucky one year they put Western Kentucky on probation for 3 seasons !
He was also GREAT as our guest speaker at The NJ Golf outing last year.
Could not have been nicer. A true gentleman.

I'd argue my 8 years with Nathalie has lasted longer than a lot of my friends marriages ( in a couple of cases 2 marriages ) and cost me a lot less in legal fees
Seriously, however long it takes that you are sure it's right and it's hopefully forever. My daughter just got engaged, and she's been going out with her bf for almost 10 years. Then again, they were barely 17 when they started dating.

Most girls I dated well into my 20's were barely 17 and I vaguely remember getting married to a Mexican hooker in Nuevo Laredo while in a drunken stupor. So Maher, in the conservative Irish tradition, is taking his time to marry and getting all his drinking in while he is at it! LOL!

Two years ago, I met Keady at the NYAC gathering. I had a nice chat with him, and asked him about the contents of the long yellow pads that he writes in constantly during the games. I suggested that in practice, players probably pay for errors noted in Keady's notes.
"Oh no", he replied, "It's not like that. We use my notes as a learning experience. For example, when we played Syracuse (the wiped the floor with St John's with Dele Coker starting at center), I made somes notes. We learned that if we play them again no way do we play Coker." I thought his candor was not only refreshing, but amusing.

I would love to buy Coach dinner at Keen's steakhouse and sit and listen to him for his knowledge of basketball is so vast and he just seems like such a great guy.
Plus he and I could talk about my favorite singer of all-time, Van Morrison. I have been lucky see Van about 2 dozen times, he's fabulous too!
I should know the answer to this but I guess Coach Keady can't talk directly to the players because as a special assistant he is not one of the recognized assistant coaches??
