The guy wearing a Uconn shirt to an STJ function is real swift

As I'm sure everyone would agree, Coach Kaiser is one of the most important people in the history of St. John's.

He is truly one of the treasure's of the university along with Coach Carnesecca.

And you are a fine alumni rep supporting most of the Johnnies events.

Thanks for the kind words. They are much appreciated.

As I'm sure you agree, the university does a great job of hosting many, many events at all different price points from minor league baseball games and BBQ's to the annual basketball Tip Off dinner in NYC.

In short there is something for everyone.

That said, I will use this opportunity for a shameless plug:

On Oct. 4 we will be holding our 1st NJ Alumni and Friends Golf outing at The Spring Lake Golf Club.

This is more a FRIEND raiser than a fundraiser since we are only charging $325 per person for lunch, dinner, open bar, and golf.

One would be hard pressed to find a golf outing priced any lower anywhere in the tri-state area.

We are also expecting several basketball personalities to attend, both past and present.

Last, but not least, a shout out to all St. John's baseball alumni (I am not one) who IMO are second to none in their loyalty and support of the university and the baseball program.

I (as well as my friends and family) always look forward to the annual baseball dinner at The NYAC which is held in February.

Speakers the last few years have included: Roger Clemens, Bobby V., Terry Francona, Ron Darling and David Wright.
