Cleveland BB Team to Change Name

Surprised this wasn't posted earlier. Probably safe to assume that Redmen is not in the running for a replacement.:evil:

People were concerned of the negative connection with the name. I heard some people suggested that “Cleveland“ be dropped and the team be known simply as “The Indians.”

It's sort of puzzling that SD State retains the name the Aztecs, and their mascot was an Aztec replica of the Redman Indian of old. [attachment=1771]download.jpg[/attachment]
