Also, Lavin says no word yet on eligibility of Orlando Sanchez, Marco Bourgault

One has to question the validity of that statement given Sanchez's heartfelt post on facebook a few hours ago that a decision he made three years ago has come back to bite him in the a**
So much for this being about classsification not eligibility.

It could still be classification. If he was ruled to have done something and lost a year and only had a year to begin with then its classification.
I think the point being overlooked by too many is the word eligibility being thrown around especially when compared to last year. Both are eligible to play D1 Basketball academically and are enrolled, practicing, etc.... This is not last year when the three kids never got that chance because they weren't eligible.

If you know something, spill the beans.
And was wasn't this vetted at the JUCO level if it indeed was 3 years ago?

I dont like to play w semantics, but the way I see it is if he has 1 or 2 years left, that is classification, If the question is ,is he going to be able to play at all? that is eligibility.Kieran Darcy @KieranDarcy

Getting the feeling that Sanchez will not be playing for us.
Don't know anything to back it up, but it arguably points in that direction.
Certainly hope I'm 100% wrong.

Youre right. His eligibility could have expired. But he still could be eligible to play in the light we have come to known so much in the past few years (Pelle, Amir, Karr)
