Chris Mullin

Don't know if anybody else happened to see Chris Mullin at the Warriors/Raptors game last night. The tv camera man was panning the audience and showed a relaxed Chris Mullin It was very fast and could have easily missed it.

IMO taking into account family issues, geography, the amount of work and stress involved w coaching college bb, this worked out well for Chris.

He's back where he belongs. An NBA guy; looked like he was having a great time.

I'm really happy for him. He wasn't made to coach but as a St. John's player, he will always be the GOAT in my eyes.

I don't think Mully liked the result. I was surprised by Toronto's guards who more than held their own. It gives me hope that a 6 footer like Ponds can get a shot. Nova's Kyle Lowry is 6'1 and was great in the series.

Thanks for the kind posts.
Chris Mullin did - from
what I understand - “ a lot “ for Golden State and he must be one of their favorites.
He is one of our favorites. Maybe THE favorite.
God bless Chris and his family - nice to hear he appeared relaxed.

I saw that as well. Marcus LoVett seems to think that is his jersey, but I'm going to guess it was Mullin's.

I have to believe Marcus was joking but its ok id that is what he wants to believe.

Sorry to break it to you folks but Lovett punked out on Mullin and his teammates his last year. Have it on very good authority that he was 100% healthy by mid January but his posse convinced him to “screw Sju” and held him out just in case he got hurt again & their Meal Ticket was gone.

Wow. i hope was kidding but I seriously doubt it. Got news for u kid no wants to wear the jersey of a QUITTER. And considering Mullin was a HOF player for the Warriors and numerous GSW Mullin jerseys can be seen in the crowd. The more likely story is the son of a rich daddy with courtside seats had bought Junior a CM throwback jersey & he wore it because his Rick Barry jersey was dirty !..?

Yes LoVett was probably healthy and able to play. But he also didn’t want to risk his professional career and a lot of money by playing for free in college when he wasn’t here for the degree anyway.

This thread should have been a Mully siting thread. It will derail into anything associated with Mullin eventually like Lovett and Freudenberg. As with any June postings over the past 4 years my enjoyment was speculating "Where's Mitch"?

The beauty of that is you could speculate he’s in the exact same place he’s been the last 4 years when he was supposed to be coaching.

He was sitting in a chair and not the scorers table. This should be a happy feel good thread :)
