QUEENS, N.Y. (Aug. 19, 2022) –
Longtime St. John’s supportersVincent Ianelli ‘73NDC and Terence Mullin ’93CBA have been announced as the honorees for this year’s Lou Carnesecca Golf Classic to be held on Sept. 19 at North Hempstead Country Club and the Village Club of Sands Points.


Ianelli, a season ticket holder since 1968 and a member of the Red White Club for more than 50 years, serves as Secretary of Ianelli Construction Co. and has been a staple of the industry in New York for decades. In addition to his duties at Ianelli Construction Co., he also sits on the Board of Governors for the Associated General Contractors of New York State after previously serving as the organization’s chairman. He is also a board member of the Javits Convention Center Development Corporation and the St. John’s University Real Estate Advisement Committee.


In addition to his professional accolades, Iannelli is the Board Chair of Bay Ridge Catholic Academy and a Board member of Catholic Migration Services of Brooklyn, The Cathedral Club of Brooklyn and the Heartshare School of Brooklyn. He is also a former Board member of Xaverian High School and Fontbonne Hall Academy, both of Brooklyn.


A four-year letter winner on the St. John’s men’s basketball team, Mullin serves as Vice President, Account Executive for Fidelity National Title’s New York National Commercial Services (NCS) operation. In this role, Mullin has become a well-known figure in the title industry, spending more than a decade developing relationships with institutional lenders and law firms while repeatedly receiving the Million Dollar Club Award for commercial sales.


Mullin is also incredibly active in the community of Belle Harbor, where he lives with his wife, Chrissy, and their five children. He currently serves on the local PAL committee and works with Futures in Education, an organization that awards partial scholarships to families in need of financial assistances at Catholic grammar schools in Brooklyn and Queens. Mullin also helps lead the CYO basketball program at his home parish, St. Francis DeSales.

I did look at the prices to join in for this golf outing and I conclude, If the same opportunity arises for this golf outing as it did so graciously for the last golf outing, count me in without officially asking me!!! LOL
 
I was there. Coach C. as sharp as ever, I showed him some pictures of old programs I had from 1965-70 and he got a kick out of it. The evening generated a pretty good amount of money for the program. Father Shanley teased about some sort of major developments facility wise to be announced soon but still also mentioned the need for more donations.
