I always lurk around on here but finally joined to address something thats been on my mind for sometime. Am I the only person who thinks that St. John's would instantly become more legitimate if they just redesigned our home court? Im not even saying update Carnesecca Arena, which would obviously be positive but would cost a lot of money. Im saying just change the floor so it looks more professional.

I think that the St Johns in the middle of the court looks wrong for some reason. I think just like Kentucky, Syracuse, West Virginia, Villanova... and basically every other school in the country, St Johns should put their abbreviated logo (the Big STJ) in the middle of the court.

If they're really feeling ambitious they should have a court design challenge like TCU did (http://www.gofrogs.com/genrel/031515aaa.html ) but I would really be fine with just switching the St Johns in the middle for the STJ logo.

I think St Johns University is a great school but has always been behind in terms of graphic design, I was so relieved when the school rebranded and switched from that awful lowercase logo to the new one. I think this would be another step that needs to be taken to move in the right direction in terms of rebranding the school as a proper University

u want them to place new STJ logo on center court i say why not
whats there now just st.johns??

If Coach Mullin can keep pickin up talent that will get us back to bein a top 20 program
then msg will be packed like it was in 80s then its time 4 a NEW gym on campus as good as NOVA

I also believe oldtimers should have a game at stJs now that would be cool have all the johnny
greats play a 30min game n meet the fans sign autos n raise $ 4 program

Nova gym not much better than ours, all bleachers. More like what BC Conti Forum or Pitt's arena. It's time! Bill Cosby built Temple's arena time for our heavy hitters to step up.

The arena was ruined when they kicked out 50 year season ticket holders to put in the seats (with Backs) for the Red White people.

They should just get rid of it altogether and play outside at the park.
