Carmelo Anthony Resting- Must be a Joke

I just read that Carmelo Anthony is being "rested" tonight. This is or must be a joke! I can just imagine a fan who spends a coupe of hundred to take his kid to see the Knicks because the kid just wants to see Carmelo. Guy arrives at MSG and finds out the mighty Melo is being rested. Rested for what? Summer camp? It is borderline fraud. I have no idea why someone wants to go see the Knicks anyway but this is offensive. If the team was a playoff contender or had already clinched maybe (only maybe) might I get (not agree with it) but this is a joke.

Sometimes you go to a play and they have a stand in. Whoever stands in for Carmelo won't be much worse and at least probably wants to be out on the court.

Stand in for legit reason and resting better not be one of them. Plus they go every night sometimes twice in a day Knick sch has not been very taxing of late.
