4 star shooting guard. We seem to be heavily involved with him and yet there has been no mention until now. The staff definitely has options that wemare not aware of.

Sounds good. Great size for a SG. Wonder if anyone can find some info on his game. MJDinkins, ever see this kid play?

Not an high level of interest for a 4 star. Where are all the ACC schools?

Does the article titled "two schools after him the hardest" say we area one of them? I saw on a providence board that we were listed with him. Thanks

I heard we were targeting him over a week ago (just never mentioned it). He reneged on his verbal to my hometown school (South Carolina) back in November. I believe he and his teammate both verballed and reneged. Probably, a good choice as Darrin Horn is a lame duck.

He could be one of those pretty decent late recruiting signings.

 7. Carlos Morris
School: Jacksonville (Fla.) Arlington Country Day
The Buzz: One of the better unsigned wings in the country, Morris is a potentially explosive offensive player. He can shoot from deep, has strength to finish at the rim and has a short memory that allows him to keep shooting.

Highlight video. The kid has a pretty sweet looking shot, but maybe a little slow in getting it off. Looks like a nice slasher, but doesn't seem to like to finish lefty. His stock looks like it has been rising, so maybe some of those have been fixed since this video is a bit old.

Once again, this staff shows it is capable of locating rising talent.

By the way, there is another kid (this particular kid is also a solid player) who I heard we're now targeting, but I'll hesitate mentioning it until I gather more info.

I've never seen him, gman. But, here is a video from AAU play from a couple of years ago.

Haha, 3 of us posted the same video within 2 minutes of each other. Looks like an intriguing prospect. One of those late signees that keep on climbing. Can't argue with a long good shooting guard. I think most on this board would be very happy to see someone like him sign.

Article has SJU and Xavier hot on his trail. Big East is a no-brainer. Could he be our athletic shooter? Apparently staff has other options than we are all aware of. Would love to land another 4-star kid.

I also noticed we all posted it at once. LOL

By the way, you can't ever have too many shooters.

There are only two clips of him, but he's number #2 at the 2:51 mark....

I think it's not only a testament to their eye, but also their contacts. They seem to have some great people out there telling them about hidden talent to check out. We know they have great contacts out west, but to hear about kids in Florida is awesome.

Seton Hall was mildly involved with him prior to his commitment to USC. I believe his final 3 were USC, Cincy and Arkansas prior to his commitment to South Carolina.

No doubt Darrin Horn's tenuous status at USC is the big reason he decommitted along with his HS teammate Baker.

I don't think the Hall is a player for them now though. No ships and plenty of SG's.

He is not from Canaris-CBA so that rules the Hall out...LOL!!!

Lol.... Fwiw, those hall fans don't know how much table they are going to be in next year without Theodore and Pope. Those two are killing it. That offense without their stud PG and C is going to take a huge hit.

Pretty coincidental but Rivals had an article yesterday about top 10 movers in their top 150 for the Class of 2012 and have Morris at no. 7:
