I really like this kid. I think he is a diamond in the rough--or at the very least a kid that doesn't have many huge suitors. Top 100 (or very close to it) out of a strong high school program. Put up very good #s (13.3 points, 4 boards, 36% from deep)for Chipola in what might be the best JUCO region in the country...as a freshman. He has NBA size and an NBA shot. I haven't seen enough to comment on the other parts of his game, but he looked like a good athlete from the videos and the rebounds per game are solid.

I'd love for the staff to strike now, because I have a feeling he is going to be averaging 20 ppg this season and the competition will become fierce. We don't have a player like him on the roster right now and he could be a huge asset in 2014-2015.

It'd be nice if Lavin could get back involved. He would be a nice change up for Dom at the three next year, and he'd really be a huge piece the following year. You can never have too many athletic shooters.

Your post implies we are out of it. The article says he is wide open. He is visiting 3 schools, but I don't believe they are his 3 finalists.
